After seeing a doctor, many of you may not get the answers you were hoping for. A lot of men suffer from high cholesterol, high blood pressure or high sugar. Most of this is a result of two things, eating the wrong food and not exercising. So, you think about what to do and realize your options are to change your habits, go on medication or suffer a long slow miserable existence.
All Dad's want their kids to grow up to be healthy and happy. You know as a parent that you want to give your kids every opportunity to reach that goal. You register them in all types of sports and events and you hope they'll pick something they'll excel at.
Beer! That earthly treasure enjoyed by men and women for thousands of years. Beer and Ale share pretty much the same ingredients as good bread, barley, yeast, sugar, sometimes wheat. It is no surprise then excessive amounts of beer will affect your body similarly if you stuffed it full of good bread. Should we then conclude that beer is not good for us and should be forgone? Our lives as men go through distinct phases which have characteristics common among many men. Once we become fathers, the demand on our time significantly increases. Kids have sports practice, need to go to the mall, Mom needs a break, kids need rides to skating parties, pool parties, birthday parties... Typically that means we are sacrificing "personal time". For many of us men, the first to go is the time we devote to regular exercise, even if we were exercising regularly to begin with. One of the most important things you can do for your family is to keep yourself healthy and fit for several reasons:
